Benefit Pig Roast

Location: Gary Pelletier’s Residence & Barbeque Bistro
T17 R5, Route 161, Cross Lake, Maine
The feast included 2 roast pigs, barbequed bear, fried moose, Gary’s beanhole beans, potato salad, coleslaw, strawberry shortcake and lots of other goodies.

Bob Sweeny from Lebanon, Maine for driving up to donate the strawberry shortcake.

1. Gary’s brother, Mel (blue shirt) and 2 of his sons (red aprons) make suspiciously short work of reducing a moose hindquarter to pan fare.

6. Peter Hilton with his canoe pole. This award was a special surprise for Peter. Some time earlier he had asked Gary if he could order one.
Other Special Donations:
Gary Pelletier, Show Host with $115.69 out-of-pocket expenses (just a fraction of his real costs). He also bought a giant stainless steel propane-cooking center, constructed 2 huge roasting pits (with concrete blocks donated by Dragon Cement), and hot-topped the entire barbeque area. Gary also bought all of the cooks (8 in all) caps & aprons.
